At BFNY we have many opinions for cylinder heads, from porting and building a set of heads you already own, to engineering custom heads cut from ThiTek Bear blanks to maximize the performance of your build.

BFNY is not just a distributor for ThiTek Bear heads, all of the cylinder head CNC porting is performed by ThiTek.

Unlike other shops, the port profiles for BFNY builds are a collaboration between BFNY and ThiTek, which provides the best heads for your build, to meet your goals.

Not every build has the budget for custom heads, and BFNY can install other supplier’s heads of your choice. Even if your budget is tight, be sure to inquire about your cylinder head options, many times it is more cost effective than you may think.

ThiTek Bear Heads

ThiTek was the first to bring a full 100% Aftermarket cast Performance Cylinder Head to market. Their heads are second to none in the Gen III HEMI aftermarket.

ThiTek Bear heads offer 356 Aluminum, multiple valve choices from 2.08 all the way to 2.20, beehive or dual springs and lots of options to completely customize the heads to your needs.

Just bolting on a standard head will increase your power. On a 550 hp motor we regularly see a 30-50 hp increase just bolting on a set of Bear heads. The big boost crowd will benefit from optional Inconnel exhaust valves, Beryllium copper seats, big chambers. Big NA motor? Big valves, custom ports, big flow to get the job done.

BFNY Ported Heads

Sometimes ThiTek Bear heads may be beyond your needs and outside your budget. We have partnered with ThiTek to offer factory ported heads.

The ported factory heads have been designed, redesigned, looked over and tweaked to give you the best numbers possible out of a factory casting. You will not find any better flowing cylinder heads at any price.

Factory ported heads include CNC porting, Bronze guides, custom valve job, PSI1511 springs, hardened shims and locators, Viton seals, surface finished for proper sealing.

Chrome moly or titanium retainers are optional at extra cost. Stainless valves for 5.7 heads are optional at extra cost.
